b4 i tell u what i like abt taiwan, i would like to extract a poem frm my student-russ's blog. he wrote a poem abt iron man and i tot it quite nice..

even though its paint job isnt so cool...

if you keep being rich , you might get out

2 things i like abt taiwan..

NUMBER 1: its wonderful recycling campaigns if you have been to taiwan..
u will knw that rubbish bin is a something that's rather rare.. u can walk on a street for 100 m and still can't find a rubbish chute. and for a place like this.. its kinda surprising to find the place clean.. and when u see the rubbish bin, u will realise that it is segregated into 2 portions, one for recycled materials and one for rubbish... besides this, no matter which fast food restuarants you are in... be it MAC, KFC... you WILL HAVE TO CLEAR YOUR OWN TABLE... no one is paid or hired to do that for you.. and u will have to dispose them according to CUPs/rubbish/the paper boxes ...

NUMBER 2: The courtesy of the citizens..
whenever you are taking the escalator.. if you are standing and not walking up, pls keep to the right.. in singapore they would wan u to keep to the left.. in taiwan.. its the right... so the left would be for ppl rushing ... when you are on the train.. u often see ppl giving up their seats for the elderly, and ppl in need.. but in singapore.. you see ppl falling asleep and acting like a blind..

haiz... is it really hard to do the above ??? i dunno.. perhaps YES for the first one.. cos you see.. in singapore, one way for the elderly to prove their worth is to work in the fast food restuatants to clear our table.. so if they were to apply the same way of working.. i guess training has to be done.. cos i dun think singaporeans will be so hardworking to clear their own table.. and so.. yea.. lazy to move on...
but for number 2.. i really think it might work! let's learn to love our earth !
