Chapter 130~ Let's pray for the ppl in the lastest catastrophe in China

Before i say move on and continue my blog post..

Let's pray to the God(Guan Yin, Ru Lai, Jesus, blah...) that u believe in for the people who are in Si Chuan.

To the life saviours who are racing against time to save as many people in the shortest time, i pray that you will be bestowed with alot of energy, good luck, great health and strong determination. and Thank you for risking ur life to save the victims under the debris.

To the victims who have been rescued or are still holding on, i pray that you will be given courage to carry on with your life, and have strong determination to believe that you will never be given up for.

To the family members who have lost the loved ones or anyone involved in the calamity, i pray that you will be given strength to carry on with your life no matter what happen. i pray that you have the confidence in ur loved ones, having confidence that they can make it back into your arms.

Let's now, close our eyes and mourn for a minute for those who have lost their life in this earthquake.

okay, let me continue with some of my heartfelt thoughts.

i am a teacher, a student, a daughter of my parents. therefore when i heard that there are several schools involved in the quake, i was devasted. if i am not wrong i think 5 schools toppled over and many students including teachers werent spared from this. i wonder hw the parents are taking this. ''Xinhua reported students also were buried under five other toppled schools in Deyang city"(extracted frm http://www.wibw.com/home/headlines/18860809.html)

i was greatly affected when i saw the victims being dragged/pulled out of the debris. i was really happy for them.

There is a disaster in China and also one in Myanmar. But the difference is ...

In CHINA
World powers including the United States, the European Union, Russia and Japan rallied round with sympathy and pledges of help, which Beijing said it welcomed. Authorities announced an initial allocation of 200 million yuan (29 million US dollars) in relief funds. A national drive was launched for blood donors, state airlines were asked to transport aid and the Red Cross Society of China called for donations. World powers, Asian neighbours offer help after China quake

In MYANMAR
The U.N. said Tuesday that only a tiny portion of international aid is reaching Myanmar's cyclone victims, as reports emerged that the country's military regime is hoarding higher-quality foreign aid for itself and doling out rotten food. The U.N. has suggested the death toll is likely to be more than 100,000.The survivors are packed into Buddhist monasteries or camping in the open, drinking dirty water contaminated by dead bodies and animal carcasses. Food and medicines are scarce.(extracted from http://sg.news.yahoo.com/ap/20080513/tap-as-gen-myanmar-1st-ld-writethru-d3b07b8.html)

I wonder... look at the difference.. ppl are helping but what the officials really doing.... not much to say .. jus look at the facts.. i dunno wat else to say besides doing my part and pray and help them.
